The burial of "Thomas Holison" is listed in the Bishop's Transcript of Bucknall, Staffordshire (FHL Film # 417175, Item #2), which states that he was buried on 9 August 1807 in "Bucknall".

Sarah Gold

The burial of "Sarah Holinson" is listed in the Bishop's Transcript of Bucknall, Staffordshire (FHL Film # 526501, Item #1), which states that she was buried on 19 November 1825 in Bucknall and that she died when she was "74" years old (born about 1751) and that she was of "Whetley Moor".


Sarah Holstone

The christening of "Sarah Holstone" is listed in the Bishop's Transcript of Bucknall, Staffordshire (FHL Film # 417175, Item #2), which states that she was christened on 9 March 1788 as the daughter of "Thos. and Sarah Holstone" of "Bucknal".

"Mary Burgh alias Mellor" (as identified in the christening record of her son, Thomas Burgh) was possibly the illegitimate daughter of Richard Brough and Ann Mellor--who were married on 8 November 1716 in Leek, Staffordshire, England. Interestingly, the father of Ann Mellor was Thomas Mellor--who had the same given name as her son, Thomas Burgh.

"Mary Burgh alias Mellor" is listed in the christening of her son, Thomas Burgh, as follows: The christening of "Thomas Burgh" is listed in FamilySearch (FHL Film # 101022149), which states that he was christened on 1 January 1735/1736 in St. Lawrence church in Rushton Spencer, Staffordshire, England, and that he was: "Thomas [the] s[on of] Mary Burgh alias Mellor".

The 1735 marriage of "John Wardle of the Cornhill Cross" and "Mary Brough of Leek" is listed in the parish register of Leek, Staffordshire, England (FHL Film # 1040766, Item #1), which states that they were married on 9 February 1734/1735 in Leek, Staffordshire.

The 1805 marriage of "Thomas Bingham" and "Martha Needham" is listed in the Bishops Transcript of Handsworth Parish, Yorkshire, England(FHL Film #990889), which states that they were married by Banns on 18 February 1805 in Handsworth, Yorkshire, and that Thomas Bingham was a "Widower of this parish [of Handsworth]" and that Martha Needham was a "widow" of the "parish of Norton".

"Martha Dent" is listed as the mother of "Jane Bingham" in the following document: The birth and death of "Jane Bingham Clayton" is listed in FamilySearch (FHL Film # 100464636), which mentions that her obituary states that she was born on 8 November 1808 in "Gleadless Handsworth, Yorkshire, England"; that she died on 29 June 1889 in Franklin, Idaho, and that her parents were "Thomas Bingham" and "Martha Dent".
