In January 2014, the Osmond Family Organization obtained a copy of the death certificate of "John Henry Osmond" from England, which stated that he died on 9 October 1949 at the age of "79" (born about 1870) at the Radcliffe Informary in Radcliffe, Oxfordshire, from "Bile peritonitis", "Cholecyotitis", "Gallstones", and "Myocardial degeneration".  He was a "Retired Master Butcher" and was of: 1 Burlington Crescent, Headington, Bullingdon, Oxford, Oxfordshire.  The informant of his death was "Ethel Osmond", his "Daughter" who was "In attendance" at his death and who was of "1, Burlington Crescent, Headington, Oxford", Oxfordshire.
