Research Note:  The Newfoundland's Grand Banks Genealogical Data (http://ngb.chebucto.org/) lists a "Peter Job Osmond" who died on "6 June 1996" at the age of "88 years" old (born about 1908) and who is buried in St. George's Anglican Cemetery, Gambo, Newfoundland, Canada.  This death date in the online registry might be a mistake and it should be carefully checked against cemetery records and a possible headstone inscription.  Also, the gravesite area of Susanna Osmond (1877-1952) is in this same cemetery, and it should be checked to see if her husband, Job Osmond, was buried next to or near her, and if so what information the cemetery might have on him.

Research Note:  Ancestry.com contains several "Family Trees" that lists information on a "Peter Job Osmond", who was supposedly born on 14 April 1873 in Greenspond, Newfoundland, Canada.  However, these Family Trees also state that this individual was married to an "Ellen" and that their children had different names and birthdates than the children listed in the 1911 Census for Job and Susanna Osmond and whose family members all belonged to the Church of England.  Interestingly, the 1921 Census in Newfoundland's Grand Banks Genealogical Data (http://ngb.chebucto.org/), lists a "Peter J. Osmond" who was "58" years old (born about 1863) and whose wife was "Ellen K. Osmond" and whose family members were all Methodist.  Needless to say, this matter needs further research, as there may have been more than one "Job" Osmond residing in the Greenspond area during the 1860's and 1870's.

The 1911 Census also states that the entire family of Job and Susanna Osmond belonged to the Church of England.
