In September 2009, the Osmond Family Organization obtained a copy of the marriage certificate of Herbert George Beck and Florence Emma Osmond from England, which stated that they were married by Banns on 4 April 1899 in the parish church of St. Clement, Oxford, Oxfordshire, and that Herbert was about 25 years old and a Bachelor and Shop Assistant of 29 Boulton Street, and that his father was Joseph Beck, a Gardener; and that Florence was about 24 years old and a Spinster of 29 Boulton Street, and that her father was Henry Edward Osmond, a Gardener. The marriage was witnessed by Walter Osmond and Annie Mary Osmond.
The christening of Henry Edward Osmond is listed in FamilySearch (via FHL Film # 1526166, Item #18), which states that he was christened on 14 January 1844 in Bratton, Somerset, and that his parents were Thomas Osmond and Mary.
