The christening of Mathewe Lythgoe is listed in the parish register of Leigh, Lancashire (FHL Book # 942.72/L2, K29s, page 115), which states that Mathewe Lythgoe was christened on 3 April 1603 and that he was of "Bedforth".
The Will of "Matthew Lythgoe of Bedford, parish of Leigh, Yeoman, 1633" (FHL Film # 89525--about the seventh prior to the end of the film) is difficult to see/read. However, in June 2009, Kathryn Stout (a professional genealogist in Lancashire, England) stated that in his will Matthew mentioned a daughter "Margaret" (who was then called Margaret Rotherine), a son Richard, and a son Matthew--who was apparently his youngest son.
Matthew Lythgoe and his family is mentioned in the 1959 book "History of Leigh" by Dr. John Lunn ((http://www.leighlife.com/index.php?page=wiki&id=leighlife:lhbedford), as follows:
"Matthew Lythgoe, yeoman, was blest with wife and a balanced family of three sons and three daughters. The youngest son was Matthew, 'which child is unbrought upp whom I have greatest care uppon which in dutie I ought.' He asked that neighbour, who was trusted of many, Richard Ward to look after an incalf cow, and the bed whereon the father lay, for the benefit of the boy and both he and Thomasina, his mother were to have meat and drink out of the profits of his farm. Matthew had married off his daughters, Margaret, Katharine and Elizabeth: he had, unlike some, paid great sums in dowries and could give them no more. The eldest son Richard kept all the forms and boards in the house and...Richard Speakman [who married Elizabeth Lythgoe in 1629] took for one year the nearer meadow field. Altogether Matthew could leave only £43 6s. At his death he possessed three flitches of bacon, a gambon and a kippow comb."
The christening of Elizabeth Lythgoe is listed in the parish register of Leigh, Lancashire (FHL Book # 942.72/K29pr, V.87, page 4), which states that Elizabeth Lythgoe was christened on 6 July 1626 and that she was of "Bedford".
The christening of Richard Lythgoe is listed in the parish register of Leigh, Lancashire (FHL Book # 942.72/K29pr, V.87, page 7), which states that Richard Lythgoe was christened on 7 October 1627 and that he was of "Bedford".
The christening of Anne Lythgoe is listed in the parish register of Leigh, Lancashire (FHL Book # 942.72/K29pr, V.87, page 13), which states that Anne Lythgoe was christened on 6 June 1630 and that she was of "Bedford".
The christening of Katherine Lythgoe is listed in the parish register of Leigh, Lancashire (FHL Book # 942.72/K29pr, V.87, page 17), which states that Katherine Lythgoe was christened on 16 September 1632 and that she was of "Bedford".
The christening of Jane Lythgoe is listed in the parish register of Leigh, Lancashire (FHL Book # 942.72/K29pr, V.87, page 35), which states that Jane Lythgoe was christened on 4 June 1640 and that she was the "daughter [of] Mathew" Lythgoe of "Bedford".

Genealogical research on the ancestors of Anthon Peter Mikkelsen and Githe Jensen was conducted by Inger Ludlow, an Accredited Genealogist in Salt Lake City, Utah, between 1976 and 1980. Copies of Inger Ludlow's research conclusions and prepared family group records are in possession of Ethel M. Brough.
Note by Inger Ludlow:
Peder Christophersen listed as the husband on this [family group record] sheet (they never married) is the same man who later became the step-father of the husband, Jens Petter Stephensen, of the daughter listed on this sheet!

Marriage Notes for Peder Christophersen and Giertrud Andersdatter-596
Notes by Inger Ludlow:
It is very interesting to note that both the husband and wife on this sheet had an illegitimate child before they married each other, and that these two children later married. Becuase of this unusual relationship, your blood-line also becomes your sealing-line!
It took a great deal of time-consuming research to make absolutely sure that the two Peder Christophersens on your lines were actually one and the same man, because the 1845 and 1850 census both listed his place of birth as Norre Sundby (i.e. the Peder Christophersen who married Giertrud Andersdatter) in Aalborg Co., but nobody by that name was born there during the right time period. And the other Peder Christophersen (father of Anne Kathrine Pedersdatter) had lised as his place of birth Tylstrup in the parish of Ajstrup in Aalborg Co., this was found in the levying rolls. Even though a further search of the levying rolls revealed that the father of Anne Kathrine Pedersdatter moved to Vennebjerg Par, which is the parish where Giertrud Andersdatter lived and later married "the other" Peder Christophersen, I still could not assume that they were one and the same person, because up till then two different places of birth were still known for "them", and the name Peder Christophersen is fairly common in Denmark because of the patronymical name-system. But then in the 1860 census for Vennebjerg Par I found that the place of birth for Peder Christophersen living in N-Harridslev village was listed as "Ajstrup Par"--the same parish that the father of Anne Kathrine Pedersdatter had listed in the levying rolls! And when I found a 2nd marriage for Peder Christophersen of N-Harridslev, whose deceased wife's name was Giertrud Andersdatter and whose place of birth was Tylstrup in Ajstrup Pari., I had the absolute proof that these two men were one and the same person! A very unique genealogical situation!
Aa I was searching the millitary levying rolls for Peder Christophersen, I noticed that he was enlisted as a dragoon on June 30, 1820. It was also recorded that he spent some time in the prison in Viborg after being convicted of theft. He was released from prison on March 19, 1828. During his life his occupations included: a farm-hand on the estate called Haestrupgaard, dragoon, day-laborer, saddler, possible also a mailman as his added name "Post" means mailman, and when he passed way he was on welfare, probably because of his age.

Research Note by Inger Ludlow: "There were several men by the name Anders Pedersen living in this area during this same period of time, and even though all available types of records were used in an effort to determine the parentage of Anders Pedersen on this sheet it was not possible to positively identify any such parentage, and it is therefore not possible to extend the line of the husband on this sheet. There is a village called Harridslev (sometimes called Norre Harridslev) in Vennebjerg Parish, but then there is also a parish called Harridslev (sometimes called Sonder Harridslev), but they are two different places. Unfortunately, this family was connected with both these two different places, making the research more complicated."
Anders Pedersen is listed in New FamilySearch, PI#: LHKP-8H9.
