EUREKA, UT., - The marriage of Miss Frieda Braithwaite to Murrel Bigler of Salt Lake took place Friday. The double ring ceremony was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Margaret Braithwaite of Spanish Fork. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis B. Bigler Sr., of Provo. The couple will make a home in Salt Lake.

Springville Man Dies
SPRINGVILLE, UT., - Oliver Henry Nash, 82, retired farmer and miner, died Monday in a Provo rest home of causes incident to age.
He was born May 6, 1882, in Salem, a son of Michael and Josephine Olsen Nash. He married Agnes Francom in December 1903, and she died in 1920. He then married Edith Hone on April 29, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
In his early life, Mr. Nash was employed in the mines at Eureka. He lived in Vernal for three years, and later followed farming in Idaho and in Salem. He had lived in Springville since 1940. He was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are his widow of Springville and the following sons and daughters, John O. Nash of Springville; Floyd Nash of Eureka; George Nash of Layton; Neldon Nash of Palmyra; Orvin and Verl Nash of Alberdeen, Idaho; Mrs. Florece Rynearson and Mrs. Leland (Erma) Pearson of Salt Lake City; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Josephine Burke of Hermosa Beach, California.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel with Bishop David Gledhill of the Springville First LDS Ward officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday prior to services. Burial will be in the Salem City Cemetery.

Rex Elmer Christensen, 71, of 1320 N. Arthur, died at his home Friday morning of an apparent heart attack.
He was born July 29, 1910 at Levan, Utah, to James A. and Lena Nielson Christensen. He attended schools at Nephi, Utah.
On June 12, 1934, he married Gene B. Braithwaite in the Manti, Utah LDS Temple and they were later divorced. On August 11, 1947, he married Thelma Louise Chatterton at Pocatello. This marriage was solemnized March 25, 1976, at the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Mr. Christensen owned and operated a shoe repair shop in Cedar City, Utah, for 15 years, moving to Pocatello in 1947. Mr. Christensen owned and operated the Capital Shoe Shop. He also worked at three other shoe shops here.
He was an active member of the LDS Third Ward, enjoyed fishing and playing trumpet in the city band for a number of years.
Survivors include his wife, of Pocatello; a son, Larry Rex Christensen, Salt Lake City; a daughter, Elaine Jennings, Denver, Colorado; two brothers, Clyde, St. George, Utah, and Oscar, Upland, California; three sisters, Francis Martin, Driggs; Merlene Collard, Nephi, Utah; and Ivy Christensen, Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in the Pocatello LDS Third Ward Chapel with Bishop Leo Howard officiating.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Manning Funeral Chapel and on Monday from 12 noon until service time at the church. Services are under direction of Manning Funeral Chapel.
