BIOGRAPHY: Lee passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 13, 2007, surrounded by loving family from a brief and courageous battle with cancer.He was born April 23, 1938, in Manti, UT to Stanley and Ruth Brox. Lee married Pamela Leonard and they later divorced. May 3, 1991 was a special day for Lee; he married his forever sweetheart, Kathy Sorensen. He loved being with Kathy and for the last 16 years they enjoyed visiting family in California, traveling to southern Utah and Playa del Carmen, Mexico and exploring the west deserts of Utah on their four-wheelers. He also enjoyed landscape photography, woodworking, camping, gardening, target shooting, and his grandchildren. He started working in the insurance industry in 1960 and worked for Surety Life, Equitable Life and Casualty and was currently employed by First Continental Life Insurance Company. Survivors include his wife, Kathy; daughter, Tammie (Matt) Eoff; son, Christopher (Danielle) Sjoblom; grandchildren, Zackary, Nickolas, McKenzie Eoff, Brinlee and Noah Sjoblom and Austin Brox. He was preceded in death by his best friend and son, Jason Lee Brox. Lee will be forever missed by children, grandchildren, many family members, friends and Kathy. The family would like to thank Dr. Barman, Dr. Price, Dr. Clark, and a very special thanks to Dr. Patricia Legant, Sharon and staff, also Peggy with Community Nursing Services. Lee's request was to be cremated. A memorial graveside service will be held Monday, Sept. 17, at 12:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mausoleum, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lee, Kathy and Jason's name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or online, www.cancer.org.
