Laura had come there to help her oldest brother, Eugene, and his wife Ruby, when they decided to open a boarding house. One chilly night there was a dance and Laura and some other pretty girls were standing around a Pot-belly stove to
keep warm when handsome Lee (Don) walked over and asked her to dance. He danced most of the evening with her, and decided to board at the boarding house where she helped her sister.
