Death Of Isaac Hunter

An Old-Time Resident Passed Away Yesterday

Isaac Hunter, one of the first settlers in Utah, died yesterday, after a long illness, cancer being the cause.

Mr. Hunter was widely known, and in the early days was famous as the strongest man in Utah. His feats are related by those who were associated with him, and it is doubtful if there is a man living here today who can duplicate what he did.

Mr. Hunter was 83 years of age, and was highly respected.

The funeral will take place at the sixteenth Ward meeting house on Monday, at 3 p.m
