Robert Brathwaite

The birth of "Robert Bratewaite" is listed in the IGI (via FHL Film #: 884874), which state that he was christened on 17 December 1684 in Hawkshead, Lancashire, as the son of Rowland Bratewaite and Agnes.

FHL Film# 812039 states Robert s of Rowland Brathwt and Agnes his wife of Pull. 17th day of the 10th month(December) 1684. This means the family moved from Brathay to Pull between 1682 and 1684( since John was born in 1682 and the parents were of Brathay).

Robert Braithwaite is listed in the Will of his father as follows: The "Will" of Rowland Braithwaite, dated 11 November 1700, begins as follows: "I [,] Rowland Braithwaite of Pull in the Bray havick(?) of Hawkshead in the county of Lancaster, yea. being in health and perfect memory yet considering uncertainty of this mortal life and having a mind to settle the small Estate, I [,] Rowland soon proceed to make this my last will and testament ..."  Rowland Braithwaite then subsequently names the following individuals in his Will: 1) "James Braithwaite younger of Loughrigg"; 2) "Eldest son, Thomas Braithwaite"; 3) "My wife and my six younger children viz Rowland, Robert, Cathrin, Margaret, Elizabeth and Esther"; and 4) "My said Wife Agnes sole executor of this my will".


Issabell Sawrey

The christening of "Issabella Sawrey" is listed in FamilySearch (FHL Film # 476869), which states that she was christened on 3 December 1680 in Hawkshead, Lancashire, and that her father was "Wm. Sawrey".

The marriage of "Robt. Braithwaite" and "Issabell Sawrey" is listed in FamilySearch (FHL Film # 1040305, Items 2-5), which states that they were married on 15 February 1714 in Hawkshead, Lancashire, England.

The christening of "Rowland Braithwaite" is listed in FamilySearch (FHL Film # 1040305, Items 2-5), which states that he was christened on 23 December 1714 in Hawkshead, Lancashire, and that his father was "Robt. Braithwaite".


William Brathwait

The christening of "Will. Braithwt" is listed in FamilySearch (FHL Film # 1471809), which states that he was christened on 17 June 1716 in Hawkshead, Lancashire, and that his father was "Robt. Braithwt".


Mary Brathwt

The christening of "Mary Braithwt" is listed in FamilySearch (FHL Film # 1471809), which states that she was christened on 11 May 1718 in Hawkshead, Lancashire, and that her father was "Robt. Braithwt".


Samuel Braithwaite

The christening of "Saml. Braithwaite" is listed in FamilySearch (FHL Film # 1040305, Items 2-5), which states that he was christened on 13 February 1720 in Hawkshead, Lancashire, and that his father was "Robt. Braithwaite".


James "Dell" Wiberg

1921 ~ 2013
James "Dell" Wiberg, 92, passed away 23 Sept. 2013 in Kennewick, WA. He was born 23 Jun 1921 in Salt Lake City, UT to Carl W and Sarah Isabel Wiberg.
He was a Veteran of World War II, and an active member of the American Legion. Dell worked as a highly sought after, skilled millwright. He was passionate about restoring antique automobiles and enjoyed going to cruise-ins and car shows. He will always be remembered as a loving father and grandfather and the antique car and ice-cream man.
Dell was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, wife Margie, sons David and Jim Wiberg, and daughter Connie Denison. He is survived by sons Joe and Lynn Wiberg and daughter Linda Leftwich as well as 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, 30 Sep 2013, at 12 noon at Mueller's Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1401 S Union St, Kennewick, WA with viewing at 10:30 am. A memorial gathering will follow the services.

"Hester Brathwaite" is listed in the IGI (via FHL Film # 934351), which states that she was born on 21 January 1686 in Hawkshead, Lancashire, as the daughter of Rowland Brathwaite and Agnes.

Film# 812039 The Society of Friends page 265 states: Hester d of Rowland Brathwt and Agnes his wife of Pull was born 21st day of the 11 month in 1686.

The christening of "Rowland Braythwayte" is listed in the parish register of St. Martin, Windermere, Westmorland (FHL Film # 1471874, Item #24), which states that he was christened on 17 February 1672 as the son of "Nicholas Braythwayte" of Hawkshead.  This christening record reads as follows: "Rowland ye supposed son of Nicholas Braythwayte of Haxkhead baptised ye seventeen day of February 1672".

The marriage of "Rowland Braithwaite" and "Alicia Alithorne" is listed in the IGI (FHL Film # 97351), which states that they were married on 2 September 1699 in Beetham, Westmorland.

Rowland Braithwaite--who married Allicia Alithorne--is listed as "Rowlandus Brathwhaite of Farleton" in the 1702 christening record of his son, Rowlandus, as follows: The birth and christening of "Rowlandus Brathwhaite" is listed in FamilySearch (via FHL Film # 97351), which states (in Latin) that he was born on 5 November 1702 and christened on 17 November 1702 in Beetham, Westmorland, and that his father was "Rowlandus Brathwhaite of Farleton".  Geographical Note:  Farleton is about three miles northeast of Beetham.


Alicia Alithorne

The marriage of "Rowland Braithwaite" and "Alicia Alithorne" is listed in the IGI (FHL Film # 97351), which states that they were married on 2 September 1699 in Beetham, Westmorland.

The burial of "Alice Braithwaite" is listed in the Bishop's Transcript of Beetham, Westmorland (FHL Film # 97351), which states that she was buried on 1 June 1727 in Beetham and that she was a "widow of Farleton".

Nicholas Braithwaite

"Nicholas Braithwaite" is listed in the christening record of his son, "Rowland Braithwaite", as follows:  The christening of "Rowland Braithwaite" is listed in FamilySearch (PID# 9Z75-FG4), which states that he was christened on 17 February 1672 in Windermere, Westmorland, and that he was the son of "Nicholas Braithwaite" (PID# 9Z75-FGH).


Rowlandus Brathwhaite

The birth and christening of "Rowlandus Brathwhaite" is listed in FamilySearch (via FHL Film # 97351), which states (in Latin) that he was born on 5 November 1702 and christened on 17 November 1702 in Beetham, Westmorland, and that his father was "Rowlandus Brathwhaite of Farleton".  Geographical Note:  Farleton is about three miles northeast of Beetham.

Rowlandus Brethwhaite who was christened in 1702 in Beetham, Westmorland, probably married Agnes Walker on 29 January 1728/1729, as their marriage bond mentions a Bondsman by the name of "John Braithwaite of Farleton in [the parish of] Beetham"--and Beetham was where Rowlandus Brethwhaite was christened in 1702.

Kirkby Lonsdale, co. West. Bndsman.[Bondsman]: John Braithwaite of Farleton in p. Beetham, co. West., yeo. At chapel of Firbank or Grayridge. Witn.: Edm. Holme, Fran. Bryer."


Agnes Walker

Melvin Boyd Marler

Melvin Boyd Marler passed away January 21, 2011, at home in Pasco, Washington, after a long illness. Melvin was born to Charley and Lillian (Walker) Marler on December 8, 1929 in Twin Falls, Idaho. He is survived by Mamie (Jacobs) Marler, his wife of 62 years; daughter Kathy (Richard) Bates of Kennewick; son Charlie of Pasco; 3 grandchildren, Delena Thomasson, Travis and Cody Marler; 4 great-grandchildren, Gave, Conner and Jacob Thomasson and Madison Marler; and sister Shirley Dickson of Kennewick. Dad's education was cut short but his experience and talents were tremendous. He could repair anything. He was proud of his career in construction on many roads, bridges, dams and pipeline project in the Pacific NW and Alaska. He was preceded in death by twin sister, Marie Sickels, Ruby Lynn McDowell, Marvin Marler and his parents. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice House who gave dad and the family wonderful care and comfort or to the Humane Society. A family gathering will be held January 29, 1:00 p.m. at the Pasco home to give tribute to Dad. May he rest in peace and breathe freely.

His ashes were scattered to the west and north of Council, Idaho by his son Charles and his grandson Travis.


Charles William Marler

Charles died by suicide.
