Violet E. Larson Smith
Violet E. (Larson) Smith was born in Minneapolis, Minn., April 12, 1923. She died Friday, May 14, 2010, and went Home to be with Our Lord.
Her parents, George G. & Ruth (Anderson) Larson came from Sweden. Violet met Clifford Wayne Smith in the early 1940s. They married Jan. 25, 1946.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Wayne Smith of Anaconda; her parents, George and Ruth Larson; sister Beverly Parker; and stepmom, Gertrude Larson, all of Minnesota.
Violet is survived by a son, Clifford Duane Smith and wife Kathie of Anaconda; three daughters, Jacqueline and husband Garth Fronk of
St. George, Utah; Kristin and husband Kerry Petronek of Las Vegas, and Teri Smith of Anaconda; her step-brother, Georgie and Katherine Larson, and step-sister Alice Rae Bergstrom of Minnesota; 17 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
A celebration of life service for Violet will be conducted from the Anaconda Chapel of KT Riddle Funeral Homes, Tuesday, May 18, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Melanie Martin-Dent officiating. Inurnment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Community Hospital and Nursing Home of Anaconda Foundation.
Services and cremation are under the care of the KT Riddle Funeral Homes.

Former Resident Passes
Lee A. Steck, 48, son of Mrs. Clarissa Steck of Manti, died in Idaho on Tuesday of last week. At the time of his death, he was manager of the Fall River Rural Electrification Administration Corporation at Ashton, Idaho.
He was born in Manti, May 3, 1906, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Steck, and spent his younger years in Manti.
He is survivied by his widow, two daughters and his mother.
Funeral services were held at Ashton on Friday of last week, with burial in the Ashton Cemetery.
