James A. Seber

WILLARD, UT., - James Albert Seber, 28, of 155 S. 1st W., died Thursday of injuries received in a truck accident in Logan Canyon.

Mr. Seber was born February 7, 1938, in Pocatello, Idaho, a son of Carl O. and Florence Mackley Seber. He was reared in Corrine.

He was married to Janet M. Ashley on August 3, 1957, in Pocatello, Idaho.

He had worked as a truck driver for Bragger Construction Company.

He was a member of the LDS Church

Surviving are his widow, four children, Margaret, Marty, Connie and Jesse Seber, all of Willard; his parents of Brigham City; the following brothers and sisters: LeRoy Seber, Earl Seber, Darrell Seber, all of Brigham City; Ronald Seber, Tempe, Arizona; Mrs. Sandra Bowen, Perry; Mrs. Diane Allred, Miss Joan Seber, both of Brigham City.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 6, 1966, at 2 p.m. in the Willard First Ward Chapel.

Friends may call at the Felt Funeral Home in Brigham City Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., and at the Willard Ward Chapel Wednesday from 12 noon until services. Burial will be in Brigham City Cemetery.

BRIGHAM CITY, UT., - Douglas Roy Seber, 2-month-old son of James and Janet M. Ashley Seber, 672 S. 1st East, Brigham City, died Saturday night in Primary Children's Hospital, Salt Lake City, of a heart ailment.

Born August 26, 1965, in Ogden, Utah.

Survivors: parents; brother, sisters, Marty, Margaret, Connie, Jesse; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Seber, Brigham City; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Ashley, Newton.

Funeral services Tuesday 11 a.m., Harold B. Felt Funeral Home, where friends call Tuesday prior to services. Burial Brigham City Cemetery.


James William Stott

J. W. Stotts Feted April 25 In Honor Of 64th Date

Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Stott of Manti recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. The occasion was held April 25, 1970 at the Legion Hall, consisting of a dinner given by their children. The dinner given by their children. The dinner was prepared and served by Ethel Ahlstrom.

Mr. and Mrs. Stott were married April 18, 1906 at Marysville, Idaho, and the marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. They moved to Manti in February of 1923. Mr. Stott has served as a bishop and also on the stake high council. He is also an Eagle Scout. They have both served in all the organizations of the Church. They were temple ordinance for 25 years.

They are the parents of eight children, seven boys and one girl. All the children and their companions were present at the dinner. The children are Leon and Elden, Salt Lake City; Ben and Gail, Provo; Laurel, Richfield; Mrs. Cleo (Vonda) Bogh, Centerfield; Girven and Don, Manti.

Mr. and Mrs. Stott have 35 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.

Laura Petersen Services Held

Funeral services were held for Laura Dame Draper Petersen, 89, Friday, August 21, 1964 in the Manti South Ward Chapel at 1 p.m. Bishop J. Wallace Wintch conducted.

The prayer at the mortuary was offerd by a son-in-law, Lloyd Oxborrow.

Invocation, L. Glen Anderson.

Musical selection, "Beyong The Sunset," Merrill and Merrill Maylett Jr. with electric guitar accompaniment.

Speaker, Iris D. Anderson, who spoke of her life.

Musical selection, "Wonderful Mother of Mine," Merrill Maylett with Eunice Garbe as accompanist.

Burial was in the Manti City Cemetery.

C. S. Truitt Rites Will Be Wednesday

PERU, IN., - March 5 - Funeral rites for Charles Simpson Truitt, 52, an employee of the Square D. Company, who died at his home, 229 Euchlid Avenue, Monday following a several months' illness, will be conducted from the Evangelical Church Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. R. L. Haley officiating, assisted by Rev. V. L. Palmer. Interment will be in the Laketon Cemetery. The body was returned to the residence at 4 o'clock this afternoon. Mr. Truitt was a member of Evangelical Church and the Moose Lodge.

Survivors are the widow, five children, Mrs. W. E. McCown, of Comiskey, Indiana; John Truitt, who is in a CCC Camp at Carrollton, Kentucky, Samuel, Robert and William Truitt, at home; two brothers, William and Walter Truitt, of Peru, and two sisters, Mrs. Guy Winesbrenner, of North Manchester, and Mrs. Jesse Burkholder, of St. Mary's, Ohio.
