Mrs. Almyra Tuttle Hall, Dies Suddenly In San Diego

Remains Brought Here Wednesday For Burial Sunday

Almyra Tuttle Hall, the beloved wife of John Hall Sr. died suddenly March 12, 1921 in San Diego, California where she had gone with her husband and daughter, Mary to spend the winter. The sad party arrived home with the body Wednesday evening. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon.

The sad news of Mrs Hall's death was a severe shock to her family and friends here. Apparently she had been enjoying the best of health this winter considering her age. The day before her death she with the other members of her party had enjoyed themselves all day visiting in the parks. That night she complained of being slightly over tired. While she was in the act of leaning over the wash basin, she was overcome with a fainting spell. She was placed in bed and given every care possible but in a few hours her spirit passed into the great eternity.

Mrs. Hall was born November 26, 1847, at Garden Grove, Iowa and came with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Tuttle to Manti which has been her home since. On December 1, 1866, she was married to John Hall in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City. Twelve children were born to them. Her husband, seven children, thirty six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren are left to mourn her loss.

The children are: Mary, John II, Luther F., William F., W. Lee, Fred M., Mrs. Clara Johnson. The children who have preceded her to the grave are Elizabeth Ellen, Edna Goldey, Richard Lesho and Myra Bessey.

Mrs. Hall was a kind, devoted mother and wife, loved by her many friends and neighbors for her congenial disposition and generosity to all who needed her sympathy and aid.
