Ralph Shomaker
Ralph Shomaker died May 14, 1973, in Manti, of a heart attack. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 17, 1973 at the Buchanan Mortuary. There will be a viewing from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday May 16, 1973. Bishop Melvin Wright, Roy, Utah, will conduct the funeral services.
Mrs. Shomaker was born in Spring Coule, Alberta, Canada August 12, 1903 to Azriah Orlando Shomaker and Chelnishlca Morley. He married Margaret Braithwaite February 5, 1934. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He was a member of the LDS church and was a High Priest in the Roy 3rd Ward. He served a mission for the LDS church to the Southwestern Indian Mission.
Survivors are his wife, Chelnishica, Roy; four daughters, Mrs. L.G. (Chelnisha) Peeples, Henderson, Nevada; Mrs. Doris Love and Mrs. Brent (Lenore) Davis, Sunset, Utah; Mrs. Lanny (Carol Ann) Sprayear, Roy; five sisters and one brother; Mrs. George U. (Abbie) Mallett, Yucaipa, California; Mrs. D. W. (Alveretta) Wasdon, and Mrs. Derrall (Lucille) Erickson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Calvin (Lavilla) Mickelson and Mrs. Lila Jensen, Manti; and Marion Shomaker, Herriman, Utah.

Death Caused By Heart Trouble
Azariah Orlando Shomaker, 65, died Friday afternoon at his residence of heart trouble. He was born October 20, 1870, at Manti, Utah, son of Ezra and Abigal Tuttle Shomaker. Thirteen years of his life were spent in Alberta, Canada, as a stock raiser. The balance of his life, he has been a rancher and farmer in this city.
His wife, deceased for eight years was Chelnishia Morley. He is survived by two sons, Ralph and Marion, both of Manti; five daughters, Mrs. Roayl A. Henrie, of Manti; Mrs. George U. Millett, Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Darrell Erickson and Mrs. A. D. Wasdon, both of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Mrs. Gulbransen, Seattle; also 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. July 1, 1936 in the North Ward Chapel, Bishoop E. T. Reid officiating. Interment was in the Manti City Cemetery."

Mrs. Shomaker Passes Wednesday
Mrs. A. O. Shomaker, beloved wife of A. O. Shomaker passed away at the family residence Wednesday evening following a few days illness which was preceded by a period of poor health of some months duration. She is survived by her husband and seven children. The funeral will be held in the North Ward Chapel Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Mrs. Shomaker was born in Manti fifty four years ago, November 20th, the daughter of Isaac and Frances Morley. She was married to A. O. Shomaker and the family made their residence in Canada for a number of years, finally they returned here which has been their home since. Their children are Mrs. R. A. Henrie, Manti; Mrs. George Millett, Payette, Idaho, Mrs. D. W. Erickson, Salt Lake, Ralph, Elveretta, Lila and Marion."

Robert J. Robinson
Robert (Bob) James Robinson, 63, Eureka, Utah, died at his home Thursday, May 26, 1994, after a long, courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
He was born July 21, 1930 in Eureka, Utah, the oldest of five children, to R. Wesley and Ruby Hurst Robinson. He married Betty Nash, January 26, 1952 in Eureka, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized July 17, 1964 in the Manti Temple.
He spent most of his life in Eureka and was a Tintic High School graduate. He was a heavy equipment operator, retiring from Barrick Resources, Mercur, Utah. He was an elder in the LDS Church. He was a member of "Tintic" Elks Lodge #711. BPOE. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had many true and valued friends in AA. the greatest joy of his life was his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Betty, Eureka; a son and four daughters, Jim and Pam Robinson, Alpine, Utah; Becky and Larry Hornby, Helena, Montana; Kathy and Randy Sparrow, Eureka, Utah; Andi Jo and John Midgley, Salt Lake City, Utah; Patti and Todd Ryan, Elk Ridge, Utah; 16 grandchildren; brother, Leon Robinson, West Valley, Utah; two sisters, Helen Allen, Murray, Utah; Colette Prestwich, Midway, Utah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Susie, and a brother, John Robinson.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Eureka LDS Ward Chapel, Tuesday, May 31, 1994 at 11 a.m. Friends may call Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Holladay Hills Funeral Home, 66 So. 300 East. Santaquin and at the chapel in Eureka, Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Salem City Cemetery at 2:30 p.m."

She married Henry Floyd (Tobe) Nash, July 27, 1928, at Heber City, Utah. He died July 25, 1985. She served as Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, Tintic Chapter No. 18. She also served as an Associate Grand Officer on three occasions. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School and the Maw School of Cosmetology. She has won several prizes at both the State and Juab County Fairs for her excellent quilt making."

Verna Alice Edwards
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2003, in Sunset Hills Memorial Park for Verna Alice Edwards, who died April 9 at age 79.
Verna Alice Lohr was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Twin Falls, Idaho. She moved to Portland in 1957 and was a clerk for Union Pacific Railroad and a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Michelle Turner and Gwendolyn Clonkey; son, Matthew Edwards; sisters, Donna Dempsey, Mary Phillips, Vera Dodge, Doris Fulton and Delores L.
