Donna Earlene Josephson Richins 6/10/1930 ~ 8/5/2011

Centerville- Donna Earlene Josephson Richins died peacefully on Friday, August 5, 2011 surrounded by her devoted, loving husband and family.

She was born on June 10, 1930 in Twin Falls, Idaho, daughter of Olaf Earl and Amy Elizabeth (Henrie) Kempton. She married Carl D. Josephson on September 15, 1948 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. After his death, she shared the rest of her life with I. Virgil Richins. They were married on October 12, 1973 in the Ogden LDS Temple.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved working with Primary children and had a special place in her heart for her Sunbeams. Mom was a gifted poet who also loved working with her hands. Many babies were wrapped in her beautifully crochet blankets. She loved long rides among the trees and mountains and was proud to have grown up at the foot of the Tetons. Her favorite place to be was at Virg's side, anytime, anywhere.

She is survived by her husband Virgil and children: Karla (Don) Tucker, North Carolina; Sharon (Bruce) Hall, Plain City; Gary (Laura) Josephson, Lehi; Kevin Josephson, N. Ogden; Deanna (Clyde) Young, S. Jordan. Step children, Cheryl (Mont) Rose, Fielding; Mark (Dee Dee) Richins, N.Ogden; Brent (Heather) Richins, Colorado. Two sisters, Shirley (LaVar) Zohner, Idaho Falls, Naomia (Dean) Arnold, Sugar City, also 39 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren.

Her first husband, Carl D. Josephson, parents, brother, Vaun, grandson, Gary Earl Josephson and a granddaughter, Dina M. Tucker, preceded her in death.

The family wishes to express deep appreciation for the tender loving care shown to Mom by the staff at Greenwood Manor and Inspiration Hospice. Family will meet with friends on Wednesday, August 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah, and from 9:45 a.m. to 10: 45 a.m. prior to the service at the Centerville Park Ward Chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Centerville Park Ward Chapel, 1125 North 400 West, Centerville, Utah."

Varro John Murdock passed away November 23, 2012. He was born May 24th, 1928 in Heber City, Utah to Arnold LeRoy Murdock and Lizzie Walker. He served 6 years in the U.S. Army and is a Korean War Veteran. He moved to California and married Delores Irene Elter on April 16, 1954, and later sealed in the Los Angeles Temple. Three children were born of this union; two daughters, Debra, Bobbie, and son, Kenny. They moved to Auburn, Washington State in June 1967. Delores Irene died June 25, 2001. He moved to West Valley City, Utah in 2002 and he married Ethel Louisa Thomson on April 27, 2002 in the Jordan River Temple.Preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother and 1 sister. Survived by his wife; children, Rose Murdock, Debra Kartchner, WA., Bobbie Criddle, WA.; son, Kenneth, Magna; 22 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; step-son Gordon Thomson; 3 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great grandchildren of Glasgow, Scotland; step-daughter Ethel Bruce; 1 step-granddaughter; 1 step great granddaughter, CO.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Harman Ward, 4635 Harman Drive (3700 So.)
