Curtis Muir

Born June 1, 1903 in Center Creek, Utah, to John L. and Sarah Rooker Muir. Married Blanche Walker, April 17, 1930 in Heber City, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Feb. 28, 1988. Active member of the LDS Church throughout his life and will always be remembered by his family, friends and neighbors for the fine example he set. He held the office of a High Priest and served in numerous church callings. He served on the Wasatch Co. Soil Conservation District Board for better then 40 years. A world traveler and noted for his wit, particularly, "Gee, you're looking pretty today", and thanks for calling or coming. Last, but far from least, his talent of memorizing and reciting poetry has touched the hearts of all those who listened.Survived by numerous nieces and nephews, who were as his children. Preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister, Joe and Louise and several nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday March 15, 1997 at 12 noon in the Heber City Utah East Stake Center (2400 S. Mill Rd.) Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Mortuary and Saturday, 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment Heber City Cemetery."
