Death of Ronnie Denison

Rowland L. "Ronnie" Denison, age 56, died Dec 12, 1997 in Las Vegas.

Born Aug 16, 1941 in Bell Garden, CA, to Rowland LaVar and Vera Wilcox Denison. Married Connie Ranee Wiberg.

Graduate of Utah Valley Tech in diesel mechanics and followed this profession in Provo, Salt Lake, and Las Vegas. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and being with his wife and family.

Survived by wife, Connie, of Las Vegas; sons, Lynn R. (Jeannie) Denison, of Springville; Michael E. Denison, of Orem; mother and stepfather, Vera and Wes Park, of Page; sisters, Carma (James) Winkler, of Church Wells; Sharon Gressmen, of St. George; grandchildren, Michael Douglas and Taralynn.

Preceded in death by father, Rowland L., brother, Douglas, and sister, Vera LaRae.

  Survived by one daughter, Marlene (Ray) King, and one son Elmo Gene (Lorene) Ollerton. Nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great, grandchildren.

Keith M. Lund

Keith M Lund, 76, of Orem, died Tuesday, December 23, 1997 at home.

He was born on April 24, 1921 in Manti, Utah, the son of Ray P Lund and Margaret Braithwaite Lund.

He married Valjean Viall on February 3, 1945 in Los Angeles, California. She passed away on January 25, 1982. He married Marie Peterson on November 26, 1982 in Whittier, California.

He attended schools in Manti and graduated from Manti High School. He attended Snow College and the Frank Wiggins Trade School in Los Angeles. He served in the US Army during World War II. He worked for Orowheat Bakery and for the City of Los Angeles as a building inspector, retiring after 25 years of service.

He served as a Boy Scout Leader, also on the District Camping Committee Chair, and was a Silver Beaver from the Los Angeles Area Council. He was a leader of six treks to Philmont.

He was a member of the LDS Church, served as a temple ordinance worker, was a High Council member in the Downey Stake and the Suncrest Stake.
Survivors include his wife, Marie, of Orem; one son and two daughters: Keith V. (Marilyn) Lund, of Los Angeles; Kathy (Thomas) Gowans, of Orem; Leslie (Steve) Alexander, of South Jordan; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Valjean; and four brothers: Ray John Lund, Wilbur P Lund; Morgan K Lund; Kirk W Lund.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 27, 1997 at 10 a.m. in the Suncrest LDS 5th Ward Chapel, 130 North 400 West, Orem. Friends may call at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem on Friday evening 6-8 p.m. or Saturday at the ward relief society room from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Manti City Cemetery."
