J. Conrad Keller Dies
J. Conrad Keller, an aged and steadfast worker died at his home here Wednesday from old age and general debility. He has been bedfast for some time and has not been entirely well since last year when it is that he had a case of influenza.
Funeral services will be held in the tabernacle Saturday at 2 p.m.

Faithful Citizen Laid At Rest
John Conrad Keller passed away at his home, after a brief illness, at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 1920, from old age and general debility.
He was born in Shwellbrunn, Switzerland, August 31, 1840 and was married in Wurtemberg, Germany to Margaret Kessmaul in November 1867. He and his wife embraced the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in March 1876 and emigrated to Manti, Utah, in July 1878, where they haved resided since.
During his life in Manti, he has always been a very diligent church worker, holding the various Priesthood, being a High Priest, at the time of death. He was appointed Ward Teracher early in life and served in that capacity up to the time of his death.
He worked continuously on the Manti Temple from the laying of the corner stone until the building was completed. He has been a faithful worker inside more or less, since then and in later years was a care taker of the grounds surrounding the Temple, doing work inside during the winter monts. He was president of the German Association in Manti for the past 20 years. In 1908, he was calle to fulfill a mission in the Northern States, he was very successful in his calling, returning home in 1910 at the age of 70 years.
His congenial, optomistic disposition made hosts of friends. For his honesty and charity he was respected by all who knew him. His mission in life has been one of devotion to his religion, his children and his home.
His wife, Margaret died in May 1912 and in February 1919, he married Katherine Kunzler.
He was the father of 9 children, 31 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and is survived by his wife Katherine and five children: Annie Braithwaite, Emily Jensen and John Keller of Manti, Mary Domgaard of Salina and Albert D.
