MT. PLEASANT-Ray M. Aldrich, 82, died March 5, 1991 in Nephi, Utah.

Born December 7, 1908 to Orange M. and Sena Monson Aldrich.

Married Eunice Boyington July 8, 1944 in Manti, Utah; marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.

Active member LDS Church, he was a home teacher and a High Priest. Lived in Mt. Pleasant all of his life. He worked and helped manage the O.M. Aldrich & Son's Store. Graduated from North Sanpete High School and Snow College. He loved life and the great outdoors.

Survived by wife, Mt. Pleasant; daughter, Helen Rae Gent of Harrah, Wash.; three grandchildren; sisters, Edith Allred, Salt Lake City; and Marian Wiseman, Provo.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 12, 1991, at 1:00 p.m., at the Mt. Pleasant 1st/4th Ward Chapel. Friends may call Ursenbach Funeral Hoe, Monday, 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery."

Eunice Boyington Aldrich completed her earthly journey on Jan. 2, 2005.
She was born December 1, 1918 in Manti, Utah to Robert Askew and Ann Davenport Boyington. Eunice was the youngest of seven children, with one remaining brother, Layfe T. Boyington of Layton, Ut. On July 8, 1944 she married Ray M. Aldrich. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Eunice worked at the Manti Court House for eight years. She worked in the kitchen at the Manti Temple for four years. After 9 1/2 years, she retired from Sanpete Valley Hospital as a nurse's aide. This was a very fulfilling job for her as she loved helping people. She was a talented home-maker. Her yard was her pride and joy. She loved flowers. Most of all she loved her family. She was a life-long member of the LDS Church and served in many callings.

Eunice is survived by a daughter; Helen Rae (Robert) Gent of Beaver, UT; three grandchildren; William (Belinda) Carter of Houston, TX; elli (Joe) Garza of Wapato, WA; Jenny (Clint) Barney of Washington, UT; ten step grandchildren, and brother Layfe.

Funeral services will be held Sat. Jan. 8, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Fifth Ward Chapel, 49 S. State Mt. Pleasant. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Interment will be at the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery under the direction of Rasmussen Mortuary.

Attend Orangeville Funeral For Father

Mr. and Mrs. Elden Van Buren were in Orangeville last Tuesday to attend funeral services for Mr. Van Buren's father, Arthur Van Buren, 87, who died at his home the preceeding Friday. He and his wife had celebrated their 62nt wedding anniversary in December.

The deceased was engaged in farming and work at a sawmill during his life. He was the father of six living children, Lloyd, Fred and Clark Van Buren, all of Orangeville; Mrs. Louise McKee of Wattis; Mrs. Mildren Rasmussen of Castle Dale and Elden Van Buren of Manti.

Survivors include his widow, his six children, 25 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

Burial was in the Orangeville Cemetery."
