Earl Christiansen
Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Earl Christiansen, passed away at home in Salt Lake City after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma.
He was born November 21, 1933 in Centerfield, Utah, a son of George Peter and Mearl Merinda Jensen Christiansen. He married Fay Denison on May 16, 1958 in Centerfield.
Survivors include his wife of Salt Lake; children, Julie (Rick) Thomas, West Valley City; LuAnn (Faron) Dugan, Salt Lake; grandchildren, Angela, Kevin, Shawn Thomas and Anthony Dugan; three brothers and three sisters, Jarl Christiansen, Sinclair, Wyoming; Bard (Charlene) Christiansen, Redmond; Cline (Lana) Christiansen, Provo; Ena Peterson, Orem; Edra Jensen, Gunnison; Myrna (Ray) Nielsen, West Valley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Thanks to all who took care of Earl during his illness, especially Dr. William Nibley and his staff.
Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, July 26, 1999 at 11 in the Redwood Memorial Chapel, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to the services all at the Mortuary. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates."

Earl Jay Ursenbach
Our beloved husband, father, grandpa, son, brother, and friend Earl Ursenbach passed away September 22, 1995 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born September 5, 1931 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, a son of Joseph and Amy Burr Ursenbach. He married Mary Marie Merriam August 15, 1953 in Orem, Utah.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters and one son, Mrs. Alan (Kathy) Rowe, Mrs. Bob (Robyn) Norman, both of Mt. Pleasant; Christian Ursenbach, Salt Lake City; five grandchildren, Nacole and Tex Norman, and Kortny, Wade and Tyson Rowe; mother, Amy Ursenbach, Mt. Pleasant; brother, Gordon Ursenbach, Las Vegas, Nev.; mother-in-Law, Vonda Merriam, Manti, Utah; many neices and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father and three sisters.
He attended schools in Mt. Pleasant, graduating from N. S. High, and California College of Mortuary Science. Earl served in the U. S. Army in Korea for two years. He was a member of the American Legion, Lions Club, JC's, Sanpete County Search and Rescue, Provo Elks Lodge, and VFW. He worked hard on the memorial flag program, flying about 200 flags on Memorial Day and Veterans Day, in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. He coached Little League for many years, and was a volunteer fireman. Provided ambulance service for North Sanpete area for many years. He was an EMT instructor for the first Mt. Pleasant Ambulance Association. He was a Funeral Director and embalmer for 42 years, serving the North Sanpete area.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 26, 1995 at the Provo Elks Lodge, 1000 South University Avenue, at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family may call Ursenbach Funeral Home Monday September 25, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday Provo Elks Lodge one hour prior to service.
Graveside service at 1:30 p.m., Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Military Honors VFW Post 9276, and Elks Memorial Service. Under the direction of Ursenbach Funeral Home."

Evelyn[0] Howard Merriam[0], 64, passed away at her home in West Valley City, with her son Brent by her side.
Born February 11, 1939 in Bountiful, UT. Daughter of Ross Hatch Howard and Lorraine Selin McElhiney.
She retired from the State of Utah, Department of Public Safety, after 30 years of service. She was very resourceful and had a great many talents. She enjoyed making gifts, crafts, and crocheting items for everyone.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but especially by her little Yorkshire Terrier dog,
Destiny.
Preceded in death by her father Ross and Brother Samuel Howard.
She is survived by her three sons Scott, Brent and Kurt Merriam[0] all of Salt Lake City, UT. By her mother and stepfather Lorraine and Paul McElhiney of St. George, UT. By her two sisters Lynda (Dave) Jackman of Central Valley, UT, and Vivian (Eric) Deets of Redondo Beach, CA., As well as a great many nieces and nephews.

Andrew Lars Gomez
Andrew Lars Gomez, 28, devoted son, brother and best friend chose to return to his Heavenly Father on February 7, 2002, after a life-long struggle with bi-polar disorder.
Andrew was born on April 17, 1973, the third son of Dr. Allan B. and Sharon Gomez of Mapleton, Utah.
Andrew brought the gifts of love, humor and fulfillment to his family from the day he joined it. He and his brothers attended Mapleton and Springville schools. Growing up, he enjoyed rock climbing, sports, music, teasing everyone, and his Akita, Kato.
Later, he enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles. After high school, Andrew studied and learned the art of hair styling and care at the Von Curtis Academy in Provo. He pursued his career while living in Salt Lake City; Monterey, CA; and Denver, CO. While in Denver, Andrew had the opportunity to teach and share his talent at American Crew Academy. His career took him throughout the United States and the world many times. He had recently started working for JoGrooming. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission in the Rosario Argentina Mission. Andrew was thrilled to finally be able to speak fluent Spanish.
Andrew had numerous talents. He could always make you smile or laugh, sometimes through a sincere comment of by taking gross humor to a new level. Andrew was completely proud of this "talent". But, his true talent was the ability to make friends.
Andrew's family includes: his mom, Sharon S. Gomez "his best friend"; his dad, Dr. Allan Gomez; his brother, Dr. Kelly Gomez; wife Jennifer Watts Gomez and son Bronson; and his brother, J. Clark Gomez, wife Ann Petersen Gomez, and daughters Bryn and Katie. Along with his family, Andrew has many special friends: Patti "the love of his life"; Kurt, Rachel, Glenn "his hero"; and Quinn; Jeanne, Kristin, Mike and numerous others, all best friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 15, 2002 at 11 a.m. in the Mapleton 1st Ward Church, 25 West Maple Street. Friends may call on Thursday evening, February 14, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork, and on Friday at the church from 9:45- 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery."
