The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She died July 2, 1977. He married Fern Adams Harris on June 25, 1994. Lynn was a truck driver for most of his life driving from coast to coast. He retired from IML Truck Lines. He then drove tour bus for Lakeshore Bus Lines. He enjoyed driving families and seniors on tours. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his wife Fern; children: Tony (Lynne), Nancy (Wayne) Christiansen, Lynda (Robert) Leech, Dell (Lori), Kathy (Fredric) Christiansen, Michael (Tammy), Robin Ulibarri, Carlynn (Rick) Braithwaite, and Brad (Lori); 36 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren; Step-children Ron, Gwyne Harris, Bruce (Rayola) and Susan (Gary) Kampman, 13 step-grandchildren, 30 step-great-grandchildren; and two sisters Cleo Ream and Marilyn (Richard) Peterson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother C. Verl Nuttall. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street. Josephine Shepherd

1Obituaries - Deseret Newspaper (ONLINE), father, 2009. " "Jo", beloved companion, sister, aunt, friend and mother. She was born on 26 April 1910 just at the precise time Halley's Comet was "sweeping" the earth. And the spot where the comet dropped "Jo" was in Mapleton, Utah.
   Although she had no children of her own, she was prized as a mother by many devoted neices, nephews and step children who all loved her dearly.In her early life she was married to George Frost. There were little children given to her, but they, for some reason known only to God, were not permitted to stay. She is enjoying those children now. Later she married Aaron Carl Jacobson with whom she has been eternally sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.
   She has been an active member in the LDS Church all her life. She has served as a teacher, as an organist in many organizations, and for years thoroughly enjoyed singing with the Singing Mothers. Her greatest joy was having the privilege to serve in the Haven Ward Choir before poor health interfered. She was a faithful member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers for many years.
   She is survived by a sister, LaVerne (Russell) Mecham, step-daughter, Delone[0] Esther (Don) Shupe[0], and step sons, Gerald Emery and Aaron Carl Jacobson, and step grandsons, Steven Perry, Rodney Carl Jacobson, Jodee (Russ) Fields, Pam (Ken) Cole, Danny Shupe[0], Peggie (Gary) Rawson, Douglas Shupe[0], and Donna (Brett) Beagley. David Jacobson and sisters Cindy and Laurie. Great and Great Great Grandchildren: 26-probably a few more that haven't been accounted for in this list.
   Friends may call Friday evening From 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary 5850 So 900 E. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Haven Ward/South Salt Lake Stake Center 2280 So 300 E. There will be a viewing from 11:40 am to 12:40 pm at the ward. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy.

Ernest LeRoy Taylor

Ernest LeRoy Taylor, loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012 in Spanish Fork, Utah. Ernie was born on April 19, 1931 in Santaquin, Utah to Orson Elmer and Eva Bartholomew Taylor. Ernie joined the US Navy after graduating from high school and served his country during the Korean War.

He married his sweetheart, Grace Louise Moore, on December 29, 1955 and they are the parents of five wonderful children. He loved his family dearly and had a special love for his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various positions over the years.

Ernie was employed for thirty years at Geneva Steel and spent the past 17 years as a school crossing guard for Spanish Fork City. He was beloved by the children and he adored them. He was known for his caring manner and he brightened many days with his friendly wave. He participated in the Grandparent program at Park Elementary School in Spanish Fork, Utah and tutored and spent time with the children there. He was a special friend and served them with love. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and reading.

He is survived by his children, Chris LeRoy Taylor, Vernal, Utah; Vicki Jo Myers, Spanish Fork, Utah; Ranae (Jim) Locke, Spanish Fork, Utah; and Jill Marie Taylor, Stevensville, Montana; eleven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren; a brother, Jack Etherington, Payson, Utah; and a sister, Faye Steele, Orem, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orson and Eva Taylor; his wife, Louise; son, Brian Taylor; brothers, Edward and James Taylor; sisters, Gladys Limb, Helen Dodds, and an unnamed baby sister.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may call on Wednesday evening, October 24, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 187 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah and on Thursday morning at the funeral home from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the graveside service.

The family would like to thank the Spanish Fork EMS team and his physicians."

Brian J Taylor, our beloved son, brother, and uncle went home to his Heavenly Father and his mother, Louise Taylor, on January 9, 2011.

He loved to hunt, hike and camp in the outdoors. He had a kind spirit and will be missed by all. Brian was artistic and crafty with woodwork. He had a passion for restoring cars and took pride in his work.

He leaves behind nieces and nephews who looked up to him and will miss him. Brian is survived by his father, Ernest Taylor; a brother, Chris Taylor; and three sisters, Jill Taylor, Vicki (the late Bill) Myers, and Ranae (Jim) Locke.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 S. 400 E., Spanish Fork. Viewings will be held on Thursday evening, January 13, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. or on Friday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services, both at Walker Mortuary, 187 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah."

Dagmar P. Hall Dies in Tooele

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 1964 for Mrs. Dagmar Poulsen Hall, 87, who died Sunday, November 8, 1964 of causes incident to age in a Tooele nursing home. The services were held in the Manti Center Ward under the direction of Bishop Elliott R. Braithwaite.

She was born September 22, 1877 in Manti, a daughter of Nells C. and Christina Lund Poulsen. Married to William T. Hall on June 4, 1899 in Manti. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died October 30, 1959.

She was a telegraph operator in Manti and Gunnison. She served as a leader in the Primary and Relief Society organizations. Mrs. Hall was a visiting teacher for 60 years.

Survivors include a son and two daughters, Burton T. Hall of Murray; Mrs. Blanche Thomas, Castle Gate, Carbon County; Mrs. Linore Lowry, Tooele; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Prayer at the home was offered by Milt Hall.

Prelude and postlude music was played by Jane Braithwaite.

Invocation was offered by Clement Miller with the benediction by Lee Hall.

Music for the services was furnished by the Center Ward Singing Mothers, led by Geniel Brown, who sang, "The Old Refrain" and "Sister, Thou Wast Mild and Lovely." Other musical selections were furnished by Lily Jane Miller who sang, "Invocation" and "The Perfect Day." Mrs. Jane Braithwaite accompanied the singing mothers and Mrs. Miller.

Speakers were Mable Anderson, Gerald Carpenter and R. Morgan Dyreng. Bishop Braithwaite also made brief closing remarks.

The grave in the Manti City Cemetery was dedicated by Eugene Lowry."

Lose First Child At Birth

Mr. and Mrs. Gomer Edmunds of Manti and Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Christiansen of Mayfield were called to Champaign, Illinois, on Wednesday of last week when Sgt. Bill Christiansen and wife, the former Nina Edmunds, lost their first child at birth. The child, a girl, weighed over 8 pounds and was born on Wednesday morning.

Bill is an instructor at the Air Force base at Champaign."

Bring Grandchild For Burial

Mr. and Mrs. Gomer Edumunds of Manti and Mr. and Mrs. Cleave Christiansen of Mayfield, returned home last week from Chanute Air Force Base at Champaign, Illinois, bringing home an infant granddaughter of Bill and Nina Edmunds Christiansen, died at the Chanute Base Hospital following birth on December 17, 1952. She was their first child.

Nina was feeling much improved when her parents and the Christiansen's left. Her husband, Sgt. Bill, is an instructor at the Chanute Air Force Base.

Bishop Udell Christiansen of Mayfield pronounced the graveside prayer at the burial in Mayfield on December 24, 1952."
