Lucile Bertelsen Barlow (1917 ~ 2005)
MARYSVALE, UTAH - Lucile Bertelsen Barlow, 87, passed away March 9, 2005, in Richfield, Utah.
Born, November 28, 1917, in Marysvale, Utah to James and Laura Tate Bertelsen. Married, Ferrel "Tom" Leroy Barlow, he died January 25, 1988.
Although Lucile never gave birth to any children of her own, she was a treasured mother and grandmother to all of Tom's children and grand- children.
She leaves behind a sister, Mae Wilson; three step-children, Bernella (Ray) Brown, Burke (Rea) Barlow, Monya (Gary) Brimhall; five nephews; three nieces; 14 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Thelma Griffin and Rita Boyd; brother James Dee Bertelsen.
Funeral services will be held on Sat., March 12, 2005 at 12:00 Noon in the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary Chapel, where friends may call on Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Welden Simkins
SALINA, UT--Our loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Welden Rosten Simkins, age 85, passed away Sunday, December 28, 1997 at his home in Salina, of cancer.
He was born December 19, 1912 in Sutherland, UT, a son of Rosten L. and Mary Dalley Simkins. He married Trelma Barlow, September 30, 1936 in Junction, UT. They were later divorced. He married Varis Thompson, September 3, 1966 in Ely, NV. They were later divorced. He married Lula D. King Anderson, April 2, 1987 in St. George, UT. Welden lived the past 12 years in Salina. Prior to that, he lived in Circleville, where he was a cattle rancher. He will be remembered for his honesty, kindness, patience and hard work.
He is survived by his wife, Lula, of Salina; children, Crystal (Jack) Halladay, of Farmington; Creo (Bill) Rule, of West Jordan; King (Mary) Anderson, of Salina; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Howard (Mary) Simkins, Mary Dalton, Martha (Clark) Veater, all of Circleville. He was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Simkins and a sister, Nellie Kenyon.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 2, 1998 at 12 noon in the Salina 3rd LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday morning 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial, Salina Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, UT."

She was preceded in death by husband, Welden Simkins, parents LaVerna and Roy Barlow, brother Tom Barlow and sister Ila Childs.
