Bonnie was born in Tooele, UT; her parents were Calvin and Della Boyton Mickleson. She met LeRoy in Manti; later married.
Bonnie was a farmer, seamstress, school bus driver, and had various jobs throughout her life. She enjoyed her family, and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, and her pets. She attended Discovery Christian Community Church.
Survived by her children, Louie, Leona, Kent (Cheva), Sandra (Elton) Schmidt, Susan (Stan) Webb and Jill (Norm) Kelly; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granchild. Preceded in death by her husband; daughter; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street (100 East). Viewings will be held on Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Interment: Manti City Cemetery.

Della Mickelson Laid To Rest
Funeral services were held Monday, June 19, 1972 at 2 p.m. in the Manti Center Ward Chapel for Della Boyington Michelson, 74, who passed away on Thursday, June 15, 1972 at the Sanpete LDS Hospital in Mount Pleasant of natural causes.
She was born October 8, 1897 in Manti, a daughter of John W. and Sarah Jane Davenport Boyington. She married Calvin Louie Mickelson on July 14, 1920 in the Manti LDS Temple.
She taught school in Gunnison. She was a former president in the Relief Society.
Mrs. Mickelson had been a partner in the Ladies Style Shop in Manti. She was a member of the Manti Ladies Literary Club and Utopia Club. She assisted her husband in the founding of the Manti Adult Center for senior citizens.
Survivors include her husband, Manti; two daughters, Mrs. LeRoy (Bonnie) Christensen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Jack G. (Lucille) Howard, Fremont, California; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Spencer E. (Geniel) Douglas, Dragerton.

Married Calvin Mickelson in Hawaii on February 8, 1973. Active member of the Manti DUP and in all LDS Church activities.

Services Today For L. P. Mickelson
Louis Peter Mickelson died at his home, Wednesday. Funeral services will be held today in the South Ward Chapel at 2 p.m.
He was born at Manti, May 21, 1871, the son of Peter and Catherine Rath Mickelson. On April 19, 1893, he married Anne Evelyn Hougaard in the Manti Temple. Shortly after their marriage the couple moved to Venice, where they helped in the settlement of that place. They were active in church work, Mr. Mickelson being the leader of the choir.
In 1902, they returned to Manti, where Mr. Mickelson engaged in the lumber business until 1914, when he went to Juab County to homestead a ranch. He followed farming until 1926 when sickness forced him from labor.
He is survived by his wife, Annie E., and four children, Mrs. Leah Funk of Sterling, Calvin of Manti, Mrs. Rebecca Anderson of Gunnison, and Evan H. of Richfield; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, also four brothers and one sister."2NEWSPAPER, Sep 2012. "80th Birthday For Manti Matron

Louis Peter Mickelson died at his home, Wednesday. Funeral services will be held today in the South Ward Chapel at 2 p.m.
He was born at Manti, May 21, 1871, the son of Peter and Catherine Rath Mickelson. On April 19, 1893, he married Anne Evelyn Hougaard in the Manti Temple. Shortly after their marriage the couple moved to Venice, where they helped in the settlement of that place. They were active in church work, Mr. Mickelson being the leader of the choir.
In 1902, they returned to Manti, where Mr. Mickelson engaged in the lumber business until 1914, when he went to Juab County to homestead a ranch. He followed farming until 1926 when sickness forced him from labor.
He is survived by his wife, Annie E., and four children, Mrs. Leah Funk of Sterling, Calvin of Manti, Mrs. Rebecca Anderson of Gunnison, and Evan H. of Richfield; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, also four brothers and one sister."
