ancestry and descendants of many Brough families of the British Isles,
including the Broughs of Staffordshire (some of whom emigrated to the
United States, Canada and Australia), and the Broughs of Cheshire, Cumbria,
Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Northumberland, Nottinghamshire, Warwickshire
and Yorkshire, England, as well as the Broughs of Ireland and Scotland
(some of whom emigrated to the United States).
