Since 1969, the RBFO has conducted extensive research on the
genealogies and histories
of the ancestors and descendants of the Broughs
of the British Isles. Genealogical information on many of the Brough
families that lived between 1000's and 1900's in Europe, North America,
Australia and New Zealand are available below:

This global genealogical database contains Brough families and ancestries
located in Australia, the British Isles (England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales),
Canada, New Zealand and the United States. This database lists over 8,000
individuals--most of whom were born before the early 1900's. Some of the
individuals listed in this database may be listed more than once because
they resided in more than one country. At the present time, the Brough
Family Organization (BFO) maintains a database of over 40,000 deceased
and living Brough-related individuals.
