"Thos Brough" is listed in the Bishop's Transcript of Ipstones, Staffordshire (FHL Film # 417200), as having been a witness to the marriage of "James Ford" and "Sarah Allkin" that took place on 25 December 1770 in Ipstones.

The burial of "Thomas Brough de Foxt" is listed in the Bishop's Transcript of Ipstones, Staffordshire (FHL Film # 417200), which states that he was buried on 23 December 1756 in Ipstones and that he was of "Foxt", Staffordshire--which is only about three travel miles from Ipstones.

The burial of "Martha Brough" is listed in the parish register of Ipstones, Staffordshire (FHL Film # 147100, Item#19), which states that she was buried on 6 September 1757 in Ipstones, and that she was the daughter of "Thomas [Brough who was] Dec'd [deceased and that she] "drowned by m[...?]".  Note: The Bishop's Transcript of Ipstones (FHL Film # 417200, Item #3) also lists this burial.
