Walker was "17" years old (born about 1865) and born in "Peterboro" and a "Spinster" of "Athol" and that her parents were "William and Mary Walker".  The witnesses were "William S. The 1828 christening of "George Brough" is listed in FamilySearch (FHL Film # 991085), which states that he was christened on 11 December 1828 in Salton, Yorkshire, England, and that his parents were "John & Ellen Brough" of "Brawby Lane" and that John Brough was a "Butcher".  

In the 1841 Census, "George Brough" is listed as being 12 years old (born about 1829), born in Yorkshire, England, and residing with his parents, John Brough (age 35 and an "Ag[ricultural] Lab[ourer]"), and Ellin (age 35), and four siblings, at: at: Brawby, Yorkshire, England.

In the 1851 Census, "George Brough" is listed as being 20 years old (born about 1831), born in Brawby, Yorkshire, England, unmarried and working as a "Servant", and residing in the home of John Wilson (34 and a "Farmer") and Eliza (age 35), at: Spring House Farm, Sherburn, Yorkshire, England.

Sometime after the 1851 Census (which was taken on 30 March 1851), George Brough left England and arrived in Canada.     

The 1858 marriage record of "George Brough" and "Atelia Potter" is listed and shown in FamilySearch, which states that they were married on 25 February 1858 in Prince Edward, Ontario, Canada; that George Brough was "26" years old (born about 1832), born in "Brawby, England", that his residence was Sophiasburgh", and that his parents were "John Brough" and "Eliza"; and that Atelia Potter was "22" years old (born about 1836), born in "Sophiasburgh", that her residence was "Sophiasburgh", and that her parents were "Willet Potter" and "Catharin".  The marriage was witnessed by Jacob McMullen of Picton, and D.S. Conyer of Hallowell.

In the 1871 Canadian Census, "George Brough" is listed as being 42 years old (born about 1829), born in "England", his religion was "W Wesleyan] Meth [Methodist]", possibly working as a "Farmer", and resided with his apparent wife, Atelia (age 35), and their apparent five children (Oraminta--age 16, Willet C.--age 12, John--age 10, Emma--age 7, and Thomas--age 1), at: Sophiasburgh, Prince Edward, Ontario, Canada.

In the 1881 Canadian Census, "George Brough" is listed as being 52 years old (born about 1829), born in England, his religion was "Meth C [Methodist Church]", married and working as a "Teamster", and residing with his wife, Alelia (age 46), and their three children (Almira--age 7, Derwood--age 5, and Earnest--age 2), at: Picton, Prince Edward, Ontario, Canada.

In the 1901 Canadian Census, "George Brough" is listed as being 60 years old (born about 1841), born in England, married and working as a "Farmer", and residing with his wife, Atelie (age illegible), and their unmarried son, Ernest Brough (age 20), at: Hallowell, Prince Edward, Ontario, Canada.
