These four children included two boys who were christened in Leek: Peter Brough--christened 14 September 1814, and Henry Brough--christened 19 October 1817 (but who was possibly born about January 1817), and two daughters who were christened in Cheddleton: Elizabeth Brough--christened 13 December 1815, and Mary Brough--christened 29 February 1818. This conclusion is based on findings by members of the Research Committee of the Brough Family Organization (BFO) who used duration and location analyzation, patronymics and radius searches of available parish records. Further research into this possibility is being conducted by the BFO as time permits.
