In October 2013, a copy of the birth certificate of "Henry Brough" was supplied by Edith Constance Brough Thomas of New Hampshire to the Brough Family Organization. The birth certificate stated that he was born on 15 September 1858 in Harriseahead, Stadmoreslow, Staffordshire, and that his parents were Charles Brough, a Coal Miner, and "Hannah Brough formerly Cheer".
In the 1911 Census, Henry Brough is listed as being 52 years old (born about 1859), born in Harriseahead, Staffordshire, married and working as a "Coal Miner Hewer", and residing with his wife, Jane, and their seven children, at: 22 Cotton Street off Wigan Lane Road in Leigh, Lancashire.
In October 2013, Edith Constance Brough Thomas of New Hampshire provided the Brough Family Organization with information which stated that Henry Brough (age 50 years old) and Thomas Henry Brough (age 20 years old) left Liverpool, England, on 8 July 1913 aboard the ship Mongolian and arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on 20 July 1913. Their destination was Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, Canada. Both could read and write; and Thomas had married Anne Rigby on 1 January 1913.
The birth of "Fanny Stanway" is listed in the online FreeBMD and Staffordshire BMD, which states that her birth was registered in July-September 1859 in Hanley subdistrict, Stoke-upon-Trent district, Staffordshire, and that her mother's surname was "Moor".
In October 2013, a copy of the death certificate of "Frances Brough" was supplied by Edith Constance Brough Thomas of New Hampshire to the Brough Family Organization. The death certificate stated that she died of "Twin birth (Premature)Puerperal Septicemis 10 days" on 29 November 1891 in Biddulph Moor, Horton, Staffordshire; that she died when she was "32 years " old (born about 1859); that she was the "Wife of Henry Brough a Collier"; and that the informant of her death was "Henry Brough, Widower of deceased, Present at the death, Biddulph Moor, Horton".

The marriage certificate stated that they were married by Certificate in the Register Office of Congleton, Cheshire, on 26 November 1876; that Henry Brough was 18 years old, a Bachelor and Collier of Biddulph Moor, and that this father was Charles Brough; and that Fanny Stanway was 17 years old, a Spinster and Silk Worker of Biddulph Moor, and that her father was Joseph Stanway (deceased). The marrrige was witnessed by George Sharp ande Mary Nixon.

The birth certificate stated that she was born on 26 August 1880 in Moor Biddulph [or Biddulph Moor], Staffordshire, and that her parents were Henry Brough, a Collier, and "Fanny Brough formerly Stanway".
In October 2013, a copy of the death certificate of "Hannah Brough" was supplied by Edith Constance Brough Thomas of New Hampshire to the Brough Family Organization. The death certificate stated that she died of "Diphtheria 7 days" on 23 August 1888 in Knalor Bank, Biddulph, Staffordshire, and that she "8" years old when she died (born about 1880). The informant of her death was "H. Brough, Father, in attendance [at her death]".
The 1882 birth certificate of "Mary Brough" was obtained from the GRO in England by the Brough Family Organization in March 2026, and states that she was born on 11 May 1882 at "Moor Biddulph" (or Biddulph Moor) in Staffordshire, England, and that her parents were "Henry Brough" a "Collier" and "Fanny Brough formerly Stanway".
