Jesse Roy (Johnny Roy) Kynaston (Putnam)

Jesse Roy Kynaston changed his name to Johnny Roy Putnam while serving in the U.S. Air Force.

Note:  Johnny's birth certificate lists his name as "Jesse Roy Kynaston".  Johnny's mother and father divorced right after their marriage.  His mother, Wanda, married again and then died in childbirth.  Johnny was subsequently raised by his grandparents, Roy and Elsie Putnam, and took on the surname of Putnam--which he used the rest of his life. Johnny died of a massive heart attack while camping in the mountains for the weekend.

Roberta Lee Smith

The "Life Sketch" of "Roberta Lee Smith" (via FamilySearch.org) states the following: Roberta Lee Smith (3 May 1935 - 22 May 2008, FST # KWDM-FNP) lived in Idaho, Nevada, California, Japan, and Mississippi.  She loved to sing and did so professionally in Las Vegas.  She was also known as Birdie.  She was married six times and had three children--two of whom lived to adulthood.  She loved history and Egypt pictures, and studied Lobseng Rompa of Tibet and Edger Cassy.  She had health challenges, was operated on her neck area to help her walk after arthritis had built up and it had to be scraped off her spine.  She had heart degenerating problem near the end of her life.  She was able to accomplish her life long goal and take out her live LDS ordinances in the Washington DC Temple.  Her two daughters were at her funeral and internment in Pennsylvania.  She did her best to do what she thought was good for her girls and family.
