Ann Brough

The christening of "Ann Brough" is listed in the IGI (via LDS Patron submission), which states that she was christened on 24 October 1862 in Kirkton Of Glenisla, Angus, Scotland, as the daughter of Peter Brough and "Christina Gouth".

The 1882 marriage of "James McKenzie" and "Ann Brough" is listed in the online New Zealand BDM Historical Records, which states that they were married in "1882" in New Zealand.  Researc h Note:  This marriage certificate should be obtained from New Zealand.

Ann Brough's husband, "James MacKenzie", is listed in the 1897 death record of Ann's father, Peter Brough, as follows: In June 2011, the RBFO obtained a copy of the death certificate of Peter Brough from New Zealand, which stated that he died on 16 May 1897 in Porangahau, North Island, New Zealand at the age of "63 years" (born about 1834) from "Cerebral Hemorrhage [and] Paralylis"; that his father was Peter Brough, a Farmer, and that his mother was Mary Brough "formerly Williamson"; that he was buried on 18 May 1897 in Porangahau Cemetery; that he was born in Rattray, Perthshire, Scotland; that he had lived in New Zealand (prior to 1897) for 33 years (so he arrived in New Zealand in about 1864); that he was married in Alyth, Perthshire, Scotland at the age of 27 to a "Christina Grant"; and that at the time of his death (in 1897) he was the father of six living children: two sons, ages 27 (born about 1870) and 25 (born about 1872), and four daughters, ages 36 (born about 1861), 34 (born about 1863), 31 (born about 1866) and 22 (born about 1875).  The informant of Peter Brough's death was listed as "James MacKenzie", a "Son-in-law" of "Weber", North Island, New Zealand.
