In April 2014, a BFO member living in New Zealand stated: "Peter Brough and Christina Grant...left Scotland for New Zealand in 1863 and arrived in New Zealand in 1864. They settled in Porangahau Southern Hawkes Bay. Their daughter Jane Mackay Brough (who according to her marriage record was born in Perthshire, Scotland, with Peter Brough and Christina Grant named as her parents) married Donald Mackenzie in 1885. In turn, Jane and Donald's 4th daughter, Christina Ann, married Andrew Robert Kelt in Hastings in 1916. Their son Andrew Robert [Kelt] married Nora Lucy Holt in 1938 in Palmerstone North...."
